We want to see every child reach their full potential – and their families along with them. Each time a family with an infant or toddler enrolls in our children’s program, we begin a relationship with the entire family. When children are well-cared for, parents can focus on school or work, providing for their families and opening even more possibilities for their children’s futures.
OUR MISSION
Why does early learning matter? Research has shown that:
- The critical window for emotional development occurs between birth and 18 months of age.
- Most of a person’s vocabulary is formed by age 3.
- Neurological foundations for math and logic are formed by age 4.
- 50 percent of a child’s intelligence is formed by age 5.
HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED
It’s never too early to intervene in a child’s life. Learn how you can join the mission by volunteering your time and resources for our children’s program.
DONATE
We rely on grants, Kids Incorporated donations and volunteers to provide the high-quality services to the children and their families we serve in our Early Head Start children’s program and their families who participate in the home-based prenatal program.
VOLUNTEER
Kids Incorporated volunteers provide an extra pair of hands in our centers, read to our children regularly, provide administrative assistance, and help with signature events.
PARTICIPATE IN EVENTS
We’re proud to offer several community events and programs free of charge throughout the year, including Thanks for Reading, Holiday Happiness, and KidsFest. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram from our team to receive event announcements and volunteer opportunities.
